Description
Enlightened was created after a long dark spell in my life which had blocked my creativity. I attended a 60 day fitness retreat in the hills of Tennessee and within a few weeks felt drawn to my watercolors, entered an almost hypnotic creative trance and my mermaid in the sun appeared out of no where and with each brush stroke the loneliness and isolation and helplessness of that dark period vanished and I haven't stopped creating since.
